The fate of Lucifer is revealed in the final Morningstar book!

Posted on by

It’s time!

After a few setbacks, I’m now ready to release the fifth and final book in the Morningstar series! This brings Lucifer’s story to a conclusion in which his final fate will be revealed.

This was a fun book to write and really gave me an opportunity to do some interesting things with Lucifer’s character. I’ll have more to say in the book’s afterword, so make sure you pick it up to know why I made the choices I did.

Even though this is the end of Lucifer’s story, it’s not the end of the Dark Crossroads universe. I’ve polled my readers and asked you all what you’d like to see next, and the result was someone surprising.

Cain was the clear favorite in the polling. At first, it was a three-way tie, but in the run-off, he came ahead as the obvious choice. I was pretty surprised by this myself, but as soon as I saw the results, my mind started working on possible story ideas.

What you see here is a work in progress for the series logo. The series itself will be titled Mark of Cain. I haven’t settled on a title for the first book, though, but I’ll be sure to announce it later.

But I digress. You’re here to find out about the final Lucifer book! It is available today in both digital and paperback formats and you can also read it for free if you’re a member of Kindle Unlimited.

Thanks as always for your support. But remember, these books are dependent on your reviews and shares to help get the word out. So please make sure to leave a review and tell your friends about the series! I’ll have some sales coming up in the near future that will make it easy for new readers to jump on.

Lucifer is back … in Hell?!

Posted on by

The wait is over because the latest book in the Morningstar series is now available on Amazon!

This book is unique in that it takes Lucifer out of any sort of urban (or even earthly) setting and drops him right back into Hell. And if you’ve been paying attention over the past few books, that’s not a place he really wants to go back to.

Here’s the book’s description:

Return to Hell!

After his previous adventure, Lucifer’s powers are completely exhausted. At first, the Morningstar sought to restore his abilities, but then he realized that he’d finally found the freedom he’d sought for eons.

Yet the forces aligned against him aren’t willing to let him retire quietly. A failed attempt on his life makes Lucifer realize that he must find a way to revive his lost power.

But the only path requires the Morningstar to return to the one place he vowed to never set foot—Hell. And not everyone is happy to see Lucifer back…

This book starts off in a pretty fascinating place. If you remember the end of Lucifer Bound, it seemed Lucifer was ready to jump back into Hell. But when I sat down to plan this book, I realize that that’d be too easy and if all Lucifer wanted was retirement, then he should be happy to be free of the burden of power and responsibility.

And I decided to work that into the first part of this book. I think more than any other, this story really delves into Lucifer’s complicated feelings about his legacy and his responsibility.

The book is available now on Kindle and in Kindle Unlimited with the paperback following soon!

Enough talk, I want to read this!

Enjoy the book and remember to leave a review!

Lucifer Rising

Posted on by

The Luther Cross series may have come to an end, but the world lives on! Lucifer Rising not only begins the Morningstar series, but also leads into a larger world, which I’m calling the Dark Crossroads universe. I plan to set all my urban fantasy books in this world. So while each series will be limited to 3-6 books, they’ll connect together to a larger tapestry, and characters that appeared or starred in one series could just as easily end up in another.

The Devil is real and he’s on Earth

Everything you know about the Devil is a lie.

Lucifer did not rebel from Heaven out of hatred, pride, or envy. Instead, he learned the greatest lie in all of creation—there is no higher power, and not even the angels know the truth. After being cast into Hell, Lucifer gave up, isolating himself from his followers and responsibilities.

But recent events have provided a new opportunity to experience free will for himself. With Hell under new guardianship, Lucifer has come to Earth. However, Heaven won’t let him off that easy. And to make matters worse, when Lucifer learns that there are other more dangerous consequences of his abdication, he will have to decide what is more important to him—freedom or responsibility.

From the world of the popular Luther Cross series comes Morningstar—expanding the world and mythology in exciting new directions!

Lucifer Rising is now available in print and digital formats. If you’re a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, you can read it free with your subscription.

Luther Cross is back in DEVIL’S SHADOW!

It’s finally here!

Everyone’s favorite half-demon paranormal investigator is back in an all new adventure, and you get to see a side of Luther you’ve never seen before!

Everyone’s got a dark side.

You may know me as a dangerously handsome, effortlessly stylish half-demon Luther Cross. That part remains true, but everything else has changed.

There’s a war brewing between Heaven and Hell. My only concern is staying off angel radar, but with a power vacuum in Chicago’s supernatural underworld, I’m looking at a full-blown demonic turf war–one that will most certainly bring the angels down from their clouds.

That would be inconvenient for me, to say the least. If I’m going cover my own ass–meaning put a stop to this–I’ll need some help. Unfortunately, my ally of choice is a centuries-old demon who isn’t doing jack for me unless I first do something for her.

And that, well. That’s going to piss off a lot of powerful people, including some I once called friends.

The latest Luther Cross novel is available now on Amazon for only 99¢! But hurry, because it will only be discounted until Thursday. So be sure to grab it while you can!

This is it! The epic conclusion to the adventures of Elisa Hill! And for the last ride of the Myth Hunter, she’s ready to take on her greatest threat yet!

When a terrible omen appears in the Atlantic Ocean, it falls to Elisa to once again find a way to save the world. Can Elisa and her allies stop an ancient evil from rising to destroy humanity?

Old faces return in this final installment in The Myth Hunter series. And it’s out today! Don’t miss your chance to get the title in either print or digital formats.

Why the last adventure? Because sadly, the series just hasn’t gotten the attention it needs in order to justify continuing it. So if you are a fan of Elisa Hill and want to see more than just six books, then I encourage you to review all of them on Amazon, promote them to your friends and your own social media followers, and do what you can to encourage new readers to give them a try.

The publishing landscape is extremely competitive today, and it just isn’t possible for a series to be successful without support from fans. So if you want to see Elisa Hill return, it’s up to you to make that happen by showing your support.

But if that doesn’t happen, I hope you enjoyed The Myth Hunter series.

See the outcome of the alien invasion, meet the new members of Vanguard, and thrill as the team tries to send back Chronos in order to save the world!

The invasion begins in Vanguard #14!

Vanguard 014The invasion begins!

The threat that’s been building has now arrived at Earth! It’s a story so big that I couldn’t contain it in one episode, so instead it spans two!

Here’s the description:

The Kotharians have arrived on Earth and they’re after the specials! General M’Lak, their supreme commander, launches the opening salvo with all-out war on Cerberus. Now Vanguard has to contend with not only the rising threat from space, but also threats on the ground as old enemies turn up to trouble them on Earth! But are the two connected…?

This was a difficult episode to write. I had originally written something completely different, but it just didn’t feel like a good fit. So instead, I scrapped virtually everything I’d written and started over from scratch. The result is something far, far better than I’d planned.

Vanguard #14: Invasion, Part I is now available on Amazon for 99¢ or free with your Kindle Unlimited subscription. Don’t miss the beginning of this two-part season finale!
